Silver Lining for Shoma Uno – International Figure Skating

Shoma Uno returned to international competition this weekend at Skate America. Due to the pandemic restrictions in Japan he has been training in his homeland since the spring, far from his Swiss-based coach Stéphane Lambiel. 2021 Denis Ten Memorial Challenge – International Figure Skating

  The 2021 Denis Ten Memorial Challenge takes place in Nur-Sultan (formerly Astana), Kazakstan, Oct. 27–31. No skaters or teams from North America, Japan or Korea are in the line ups at this time.  In the men’s event, 13 entries from eight nations are slated to compete. 2021 Gran Premio d’Italia – International Figure Skating

The third event of the 2021 Grand Prix Series was originally scheduled to be held in Chongqing, China, but on Aug. 16 the ISU announced the event had been cancelled. Italy subsequently stepped up to host the event. Nathan Chen heads into Skate America this week chasing a record fifth consecutive title.
